German manufacturer Chainmaster used PLASA 2001 to show its most advanced hoisting and moving technology for safe and accurate positioning even of very heavy objects on stage.
The Rigging Lift Pro II is the smallest and lightest 1-ton chain hoist with contactor control for the entertainment industry. Jam-Free technology with a special 5-pocket chain wheel and a plastic chainguide prevent chain jam and damage of chains. The chain bag is directly fixed to the hoist and protects the the chain from dropping out. The weight without the chain is 28 kg.
Vario Lift 1000 is a fast and highly precise chain hoist. A built-in vector controlled frequency inverter enables the hoist to select velocities from 1 up to 19 m/min. Programmable soft start/stop functions minimize dynamic load. Two independent brakes provide safety. A high resolution incremental encoder allows positioning accuracy within 1-2 mm. To comply with the German standard VBG-70 / BGV-C1 the Vario Lift 1000 is also available for a capacity of 500 kg with a safety factor of 12.
Vario Trolley is used for horizontal movements on stage. It is available for capacities from 1000 to 5000 kg and variable velocities up to 40 m/min. A 'drop stop' design takes care of safety . An integrated incremental encoder ensures exact positioning. Additionally, the control unit comes with an analogue input interface for a load cell as well as a digital output interface for all kinds of chain hoists. The Vario Trolley is BUS-Controlled. It is available for BUS-Systems as CAN, Profibus, Interbus, Device Net, Ethernet, RS-485, Light-Bus and other.
