More than a year after the launch of the very first EyeColor in 2002, French manufacturer Ayrton announces Eycolor 2. The moving head luminaire is equipped with 36 high power Luxeon LEDs whose lamp life duration is over 100.000 hours. EyeColor 2 also includes a number of the features and the characteristics of his predecessor.
EyeColor 2 utilizes a software which allows variation of the colours ' balance. Its utterly new construction and the stronger motors make this luminaire highly useful for television studios and show sceneries.
EyeColor 2 is available in black (Carbon), white (Snow) and grey (Platinum).
EyeColor was the first professional LED moving-head fixture in the lighting industry. Its eighteen high-power LEDs have a 10-year life span (equivalent to over 100,000 hours continuous use) and offer users rich saturated colours.
Maintenance of EyeColor fixtures is easy, as they have no lamps or colour mixing systems. Their very low IR emission and non-existent UV radiation enables them to be used close to the objects they illuminate without any risk of damage. EyeColor are designed for use in architectural lighting, theatre, TV studios and display applications.
EyeColor will be showing at ProLight + Sound 2004, Frankfurt, at the booth of German distributor Lightpower.
