Mouth harp electrified

British manufacturer Harmonic Solutions is building the world's first mouth harp with direct electrical connection to sound reinforcement or recording gear.
The "Integrated System" takes the instrument into the 21st century featuring a newly designed ten hole body, embossed with the company logo, easily replaceable reedplates and a round hole mouth-piece to give better hole coverage. The air channels are radiused at the end to give a smoother air passage into the blow reeds.
The built-in Harmonic Solutions microphone system gives a choice of left or right hand cable connection. The cable connection goes via 3.5mm mini-jack directly into the end of the harmonica. A belt mounted preamp with a flying lead, incorporating an on/off and volume control supplies signal to mixing desks.
The instruments are available in different finishes and in almost any key.
