Conn Selmer add soprano to the LaVoix line of saxophones

At winter Namm show 2006 a new soprano voice has been added to the Selmer LaVoix (pronounced: La-VWA) saxophone line. Conn-Selmer, the company that carries the legacy of a long line of saxophone greats has introduced the mid-priced model SS220 soprano saxophone worthy of the name Selmer. The Selmer LaVoix model SS220 is a fully ribbed Bb soprano saxophone. With a range from low Bb to high G, the instrument features two neck options, straight and angled, each with an underslung octave key. "The LaVoix SS220 has a full, rich tone," said Stan Garber, director of marketing for Conn-Selmer woodwinds. "Traditional Selmer dimensions combined with specific materials and design will please the discriminating teacher and provide a Selmer option at a mid-price level."
Other features include double key arms on the low C and B keys, a reinforced table key arch, a Selmer Paris C* mouthpiece and specially designed BAM-style case. The Selmer LaVoix SS220 will be on show at Musikmesse Frankfurt, Hall 6.0 C15.
