A number of new Audio-Technica products will be making their European AES debut when the 2002 exhibition opens it doors to visitors on May 10 in Munich, Germany.
Central to A-T's exhibition will be the AT4040, the latest addition to the AT40 series of premium studio products. This new large-diaphragm microphone features a true condenser design (externally polarized) and utilizes Audio-Technica's latest transducer technology with state-of-the-art surface-mount electronics and transformerless circuitry. Audio-Technica's engineering team developed an entirely new large-diaphragm element for the AT4040, designed specifically to provide smooth, natural sonic characteristics with a wide dynamic range and the ability to handle extremely high SPLs.
Also on the bill for Munich are the Artist Elite microphones, which are the result of extensive research and field evaluation with artists, FOH/monitor engineers, leading touring companies and prominent audio consultants. A series of four handheld microphones (two condenser, two dynamic), the Artist Elite are recommended for touring/live performance, club sound, broadcast, corporate facilities and worship venues.
Completing the line up of new products will be the ATHM30 monitorphones. Embodying the company's latest transducer technology, the ATH-M30 combines audio quality with comfort and rugged construction.
The debutants will be shown alongside A-T's wide range of established professional audio products on stand number 2A09.
