Tom Misner (SAE, left) and Dave Caulfield (E-mu/ Ensoniq)E-mu / Ensoniq stepped into a new relationship with the world-famous School of Audio Engineering (SAE). Founded in 1976, SAE have already established 28 facilities in 15 countries, with several more planned. SAE have recognised the superior quality and features available from the E-mu 'Ultra' sampler series, and  have decided to re-equip all their studios worldwide with E-mu E 5000 Ultras. The new samplers will enable SAE students to fully explore high-quality sampling, sophisticated DSP and, of course, those famous E-mu filters.
E-mu's Dave Caulfield states:"We have long admired the innovative techniques of SAE and above all, the range of teaching packages. It is particularly gratifying that they have chosen to re-equip with the E 5000, because each year hundreds of SAE graduates will come into the business with a thorough knowledge of the best samplers on the market".
SAE's Rudi Grieme said;"We are very happy about our strong relationship with E-mu. SAE s philosophy has always been giving students maximum access to the best professional audio products available, and E-mu samplers and sound modules have been the absolute cutting edge for a good two decades. It s a natural fit - and the students win."
Tom Misner, Founder and President of SAE: "Our students already receive significantly more studio time than students at any other facility in the industry.  Now through relationships with partners such as E-mu/Ensoniq, SAE is taking that studio time experience and technology education to an even higher level".
