At Musikmesse 2002 Peavey launched the DJS Sub kicking the beat into overdrive by adding low end. The heart-thumping bass produced by the unit can be attributed to the subwoofer folded-horn design, which delivers 1000 Watts of music program through the 18-inch Black Widow driver.
That driver features Peavey's exclusive field-replaceable basket, an important feature for the pro whose reputation depends on every gig. In addition, the built-in 150 Hz integrated crossover with high pass output insures that you won't waste power sending unnecessary frequencies to the unit. All this power is contained in a compact enclosure. Add built-in wheels and you've got a portable addition to your rig.
