Hudson Music is proud to announce the availability of a spectacular, two-disc DVD that features on-stage performances and back-stage interviews from The Drummers Collective's 25th Anniversary Concert on Sunday November 24, 2002 in New York City. The sold-out show included historic appearances by a stellar lineup of some of the most creative and influential musicians in the world, including Steve Gadd, Dave Weckl, Steve Smith, Horacio Hernandez, John Patitucci, Victor Wooten and special guests as well as faculty ensembles from the Drummers Collective and the Bass Collective.
According to the Collective's Director, John Castellano, the once-in-a-lifetime event was produced to both showcase performances by today's top musicians and bring together the teachers, students and friends who have supported the school during its growth from a local New York City drum school (founded in 1977) to a professional music education center for drums, bass, guitar, and keyboards over the past two and a half decades.

Disc One of the double-DVD includes awe-inspiring performances by:

- Steve Gadd and the Gadd Gang, featuring Cornell Dupree on guitar, Eddie Gomez on bass, Ronnie Cuber on baritone sax, and Larry Goldings on Hammond B3. - Dave Weckl and the Dave Weckl Band, featuring Tom Kennedy on bass, Steve Weingart on keyboards, and Gary Meek on sax.
- Steve Smith
- Horacio "El Negro" Hernandez and John Patitucci, with keyboard player, Oriente Lopez
- Victor Wooten
- Special guests Felix Pastorius and Kenwood Dennard
- Collective Faculty Ensembles, featuring Memo Acevedo, Louis Bauzo, Fernando Hernandez, Cliff Korman, Michael Lauren, Irio O'Farrill, Tim Ouimette, Kim Plainfield, Leo Traversa and Bob Quaranta.
The second disc of the two-disc set offers special features, including 5.1 Surround Sound mixes on four tunes, mixed from the drum chair, artist interviews, alternate edits that include FootCam footage, bonus footage of Steve and Victor's rehearsal and the Gadd Gang's sound check , web links and a photo gallery

With a total running time of nearly 5 and a half hours and a suggested US retail price of $49.95, the Drummers Collective's 25th Anniversary Concert DVD is distributed by the Hal Leonard.
