Premier reintroduces Zyn range of cymbalsAt Musikmesse Frankfurt 2006 Premier Percussion announced the reintroduction of its range of Zyn and Super Zyn Cymbals. For nearly half a century Zyn cymbals have been the benchmark for high quality cymbals at competitive prices.
The new range of Zyn and Super Zyn Cymbals are genuine cast bronze cymbals forged from an alloy of 80% Copper and 20% Tin. Hand made in China, the new Zyn and Super Zyn Cymbals unite old world craftsmanship with the latest manufacturing technologies. These cymbals offer bright, penetrating sounds ideal for Rock music and are available in box sets of the most popular cymbal set-ups.
Premier Zyn cymbals feature symmetrical machine hammering and a traditional finish creating their characteristically bold and cutting sound. The 4 piece set-up features a 20” Medium Ride, 16” Medium Thin Crash and 14” Medium Hi-Hat pair. The 3 piece set-up features an 18” Crash Ride and 14” Medium Hi-Hat Pair.
The Super Zyn range introduces a selection of cymbals that are versatile, excelling in a wide variety of musical settings. The cymbals are crafted utilizing a combination of both machine hammering and hand hammering to create a complex, highly musical sound. They also feature a highly polished “Brilliant” finish giving them a beautiful and distinctive appearance. They are also available in 4 and 3 piece set-up box sets. Premier Super Zyn Cymbals also include a selection of marching band cymbals. Available in either 14” pairs or 16” pairs (part number 0326), Premier Super Zyn marching cymbals are supplied with straps and pads as standard.
