Wersi OAS MIDI module available

Launching the MIDI module Expander EX-1, Wersi makes its renowned OAS (Open Art System) available for any MIDI equipped instrument independently from purchasing a complete organ or keyboard. The MIDI master instrument only requires very basic MIDI implementation and therfore makes the EX-1 an ideal upgrade for 1st generation MIDI keyboards. The user fully controls the OAS via a large touch-screen and a control panel unit wired to the main unit with a single connector. Available screen languages are English, German, Dutch and French. Providing hundreds of sounds generated from samples recorded around the world, the Advanced Sound System is the core of the EX-1. Samples are either recorded live or generated using algorithms. EX-1 also works with AKAI*1 compatible libraries. The OAS module EX-1 provides fully arranged styles as well as drum patterns recorded live. It also plays back wav and mp3 audio tracks.
