Genz Benz adds lightweight models to the Shenandoah series

At winter NAMM show 2008 Genz Benz highlighted two lightweight members to the Shenandoah family of acoustic amplifiers. The Shenandoah PRO LT and Stereo 60 LT offer the same features and tone that have made these amplifiers popular in acoustic amplification, now in a lightweight format.
The Shen 60 LT combo weighs in at 29 lbs. (13.2 kg), reducing its overall weight nearly 30% from its predecessor. The LT version utilizes an aluminum chassis and plywood construction for weight savings and durability. This compact cabinet houses dual 6.5" woofers and compression tweeters.
Enhanced by a new Class D amplifier design and aluminum chassis, the Shen PRO LT achieved a 25% weight reduction. Features, power and performance of this efficient model are further enhanced as a 37 lb (16.8 kg.) combo. The power rating of this design is capable of producing 300 watts at 4 ohms. The speaker enclosure offers Genz Benz's 12" Neodymium cast-frame loudspeaker and compression tweeter. The rear panel is full featured with a comprehensive XLR direct injection, effects loop and auxiliary input.
The preamp features a blendable 12AX7 tube in the FET input for added warmth and natural compression. The Shen PRO LT includes two identical channels, both featuring: balanced XLR microphone inputs and 1/4" instrument inputs, active EQ with sweeping midrange control, phase switch and separate DSP effects.
