Wylde news: EVM-12L Black Label launched - Zack inducted into RockWalk

Electro-Voice launched the Electro-Voice EVM-12L Black Label loudspeaker at winter Namm 2006. The original EVM-12L 12" loudspeaker was introduced in 1983. Known for its huge tone, gorgeous low-end and incredible stability at extreme volumes, it quickly achieved legendary status. Top guitarists and bassists loved it not only for its sound, but also for its reliability. Tour after tour, the EVM-12L held up to the demands of the most punishing players.
The EVM-12L Black Label is the official guitar loudspeaker of Zakk Wylde and Black Label Society. Zakk's personal specs such as improved power handling, improved magnet design, better venting, and the Black Label colors moved the EVM-12L to the EVM-12L Black Label.
Take it from Zakk himself: "It's like beer and pretzels, peanut butter and jelly, the perfect combinations of the Gibson Les Paul and a Marshall, the Marshall and the EVM-12Ls, me and EV... They f..king go together!"
To honor his nearly 20 years as one of heavy metal's most renowned and respected lead guitarists, Zakk Wylde was inducted into the Hollywood RockWalk. The ceremony, held the week of the 2006 Winter Namm show, immortalized Wylde as he cast his handprints and signature into the famous RockWalk that encircles the entrance to Guitar Center's Sunset Strip location.
Speakers at the event included Rob Zombie and the legendary Ozzy Osbourne himself, as well as Marshall Amplification USA product manager Nick Bowcott, who read a letter from Jim Marshall congratulating his friend and now fellow RockWalk inductee (Dr. Marshall was inducted in 1985).
Handmade by hardworking Americans in Morrilton, Arkansas, the EVM-12L Black Label is used in Zack's Marshall cabinets providing high output of 300 watts/speaker, vented 16 lb magnet structure, 100 dB sensitivity, 8 Ohms, 80-7000 Hz frequency response, and a massive low end.
