Paul Reed Smith adds a 12-string to the Custom line

Celebrating 20 years of excellent hand made guitars, Paul Reed Smith launchedseveral Custom models featuring distinctive 20th Anniversary bird inlays. Further new models for 2005 include the 12-string Custom 22/12, the 513 Rosewood, and the Modern Eagle.
The Custom 22/12 is designed to be a 12-string electric that plays lile a 6-string, The 22/12 features a hum-single-hum configuration, a fully intonatable bridge and humbucking pickups specifically designed for 12-string guitars. This model incorporates the special neck dimensions, nut spacing, bridge design, fingerboard radius, string guages and set-up specifications that have been gained in many years of building one-off 12-strings.
The Modern Eagle incorporates many aspects of PRS's prestigious Private Stock instruments and specifications that PRS has been developing for years. These include an ultra-thin nitrocellulose finish, Modern Eagle RP pickups, an anodized stoptail bridge, brass studs, mixed hardware, Brazilian rosewood neck and fingerboard, rippled abalone bird inlays and unique, highly figured maple tops. Available in stoptail or tremolo in 8 exclusive Modern Eagle finishes.
The 513 Rosewood features a newly developed PRS pickup system, providing 13 modern and vintage sounds utilizing 5 proprietary single coil pickups. Other specifications include a Brazilian rosewood neck, Brazilian rosewood fretboard, 25 1/4" inch scale length, a redesigned neck joint, new 513 bird inlays and a new easy-to-use integrated electronics control package which includes a volume control, tone control, and two blade switches.
