DPA steps into making musicians' microphones

DPA Microphones, leading Danish manufacturer of high-quality studio microphones, launched its first microphones from a brand new range geared towards the MI market at PLASA 2008 and at prolight+sound show Frankfurt 2009. The range comprises diffferent capsules and beltpacks which supply the instrument mounted condenser capsule with the required voltage and will also be showcased at LIMS 2009, London. stand E36.
DPA believes that musicians deserve to get the best sound possible from their precious instruments when playing live. To this end, they have created a range of cost-effective mics tailored for a wide array of musical instruments, complete with robust carrying cases and gentle, discreet mounting solutions.
Microphones are mounted to trumpets, trombones, saxophones and other wind instruments with an easy to handle, surface friendly clip. A gooseneck is used to bring the condenser microphone into the desired position. The mounting solution for acoustic guitars is clipping to the side of the instrument's body without harming the valuable finish.
