After previews at AC North and ABTT, LSC eventually launched their compact digital dimmer rack Redback at the 2007 PLASA Show. Offering a variety of features not normally found on dimmers at its price point, Redback is a 19” rack-mount dimmer unit featuring six 10amp digital dimmers available in 2RU high (rear mounted connectors) or 4RU high (front mounted connectors) versions. Redback offers programmable minimum and maximum
levels and dimmer curves for each channel, a soft-patch facility, and on-board support for five scenes with fade times and four chases with speed control, allowing it to be used stand alone for exhibitions.
The REDBACK joins the extensive range of products from LSC, including the XTC, MINIM and maXim lighting desks, the monoPAK, EKO and other dimmers and a variety of power and data distribution products.
