E.GO show control Shortly after going public about their future plans, The-Fun-Company gave the first preview of their show control system E.GO at the Prolight + Sound show 2004 in Frankfurt, Germany. Aiming at the professional theatrical and live markets, the console wraps new hardware and software concepts into an exceptionally powerful package. "The system offers the kind of functionality asked for by the most demanding users and will bring show control in sophisticated theatrical and live environments a giant step forward," said Lennart Knauf, former support expert for the transtechnik/AVAB/ETC group and mastermind behind the concept of the system hardware.
"This will be the first system specifically designed to incorporate all the features of ACN and therefore benefit from all that this ground-breaking technology has to offer," commented Yngve Sandboe, who is actively working with the ESTA ACN (Advanced Control Network) Task Group. Yngve Sandboe - software developer and networking expert - is the Director of Software Development. Sandboe's achievements include the award winning VLC Safari Lighting Control software and the SandNet network operating system.
"We are proud to be associated with such an innovative and exciting product and look forward to a successful preview at the show," said Heinz Siller of RST, The-Fun-Company's German distributor.
