iLight Intelligent controls have appointed Peter Van der Kolk as their European Business Development Manager. Peter brings with him over ten years experience within the European lighting control, broadband, and wireless telemetry fields, gained with Royal Philips Electronics. His primary task will be to further strengthen and expand the iLight business in Europe, whilst also exploring new application areas. In addition to this he will also be undertaking an active role in the Marketing of the iLight brand.
As the European Market for architectural lighting is rapidly growing his appointment underlines iLight’s commitment in developing its brand across the region. "A reason for the growth in the architectural lighting market is the increased awareness for creating an ambience in our daily spaces along with the growing acceptance for dynamic scene setting and creative use for colour RGB lighting designs. With this in mind it goes to show that these are exciting times for the European market and I am really looking forward to making iLight a central part of it,” Peter explained. Van der Kolk will be operating from iLight’s headquarters at Penshurst, in Kent. |
