Xavtel audio/video conferencing products provide advanced features

With the introduction of their wide range of new products, the PAX Pro AV Group accommodates the inclusion of its new brand Xavtel. While Penton and Ateis are focused on the Voice Alarm/EVAC and Distributed Audio market, the new product range under the Xavtel brand expands the groups reach into high end Pro-AV and Conference applications. The new Xavtel range was exhibited at ISE 2014, Amsterdam, 7-M190, and at Prolight + Sound Show 2014, Frankfurt, Germany.
Xavtel's advanced Digital Audio Conferencing and Pro Audio DSP Processors include Full HD Audio & Video over AVB or XAVNET on a single platform. High speed network technology, 100Mbit (64 audio channels) or 1Gbit, (420 or 600 audio channels) with as little as 2 ms latency forms the back-bone for several multi-channel networks that can be either on a “Redundant Loop Topology”, or a “Star Wired Topology”.
“We have created products one step ahead of competition, which makes the integration of networked audio, video and control systems as easy as possible; from the concept to final project realization. From Xavtel you can expect innovative solutions, excellent audio and video quality with a focus on 'Ease of Integration & Installation',” says Romano M. Cunsolo, Xavtels Director of Marketing & Business Development.
The first products launched in 2014 include the Dialogo Series, affordable high end table top Audio/Video conferencing systems; and the Senator System, a fully digital and networked DSP solution for conferencing, voting and simultaneous translation. Based on Xavtel’s high speed redundant network technology, up to 504 different delegate units can be individually processed using only one DSP processor while still providing individual processing for each microphone. The patent pending technology also incorporates a unique Voice Activated Gate, on-board SIP3 VoIP telephone module and an optional wideband AEC card for teleconferencing. Expandable from four delegate units to more than 16.000, the Senator System is a unique, fully networkable product. The network topology can be either a CAT5/6 or Fiber Optic Loop configuration with full redundancy and fault indication.

Later in 2014 the Octo Series of DSP processors will be launched, starting with the Octo Jr. a stand-alone entry level DSP processor. Octo-Sr. is linkable via the DIGI-Link digital audio bus and a large variety of I/O cards is available for up to 32 channels.
Octo-Pro will allow a large variety of true networking, using either AVB or XAVNET Cards on 100Mbit or 1Gbit. Up to 600 audio channels can be distributed over the network, a single OCTO-Pro frame allows for up to 48 audio I/Os.
