Dynacord Variline at prolight+sound 2007 in Frankfurt

At prolight+sound 2007, Frankfurt, Dynacord's Variline comprising a range of products for live sound applications and fixed installations alike will be launched. The range has been designed to provide the highest possible quality for the widest variety of applications. Both, the acoustic and the mechanical design of the Variline cabinets have been optimised for multi-functional applications. All Variline loudspeakers are suitable to be used as full-range systems capable of delivering high quality reproduction of music and vocals. The systems also work fine as satellite systems combined with subwoofers, or as delay speakers in large audio systems. Mounted horizontally - particularly for high-quality installations - the midrange and high-frequency horns can be rotated. From the 12" two-way model upwards all full-range speakres can also be switched to active two-way operation. All drivers are protected against thermal overload either by halogen protectors or Dynacord's fully electronic Voice-Coil Tracking Protection. Linear-phase FIR (Finite Impulse Response) factory presets are available for use with Dynacord Power-H power amplifiers with RCM 26 modules, as are presets for conventional digital controllers. Users can also download EASE and Ulysses data files free of charge. to allow them to perform even the most demanding simulations precisely and without problems. A wide variety of mounting accessories is available to allow for Variline systems to be installed in the most elegant surroundings. The enclosures asymmetric design facilitate wall- and ceiling-mounting as well as cluster configuration or stage monitor applications.
