At NSCA 2003 in Dallas, Texas, Denon Electronics showed the DN-C615 CD player, featuring new preset programmability and enhanced multi-format playback. The DN-C615 offers compact disc playback of various formats, including standard Compact Discs, CD-R/RW, and MP3 encoded discs. Featuring a shock proof memory for assured uninterrupted playback, the DN-C615 is also able to display CD encoded text through the use of a tube display. The player includes instant start functionality on pressing a key, track search, frame search and direct track selection via the front-panel 11-key pad. A user preset component of the DN-C615 provides users with the option to set pre-tailored playback functions. Playback speed is adjustable via the front panel controls for pitch change up to ±12%.
The DN-C615 comes with standard analog RCA outputs, coaxial S/PDIF digital output, cascade in/out (RCA) for connecting several units for extended playback functions, and a front panel 1/4" headphone jack. Additionally, the unit contains an infrared remote sensor for compatible wireless control devices, along with a wired stereo mini jack terminal and wired RCA in/out jacks for synchro recording features when used in conjunction with Denon's DN-780R professional dual cassette deck which also was launched at NSCA. The DN-C615 is housed in a sturdy 19-inch, 2R unit with an aluminum faceplate. |
