At Musikmesse Frankfurt the PowerHarp 400 system, the amplification system specially designed for the needs of the harmonica player from British manufacturer Carlsbro Electronics and haRmonic Solutions had its european show debut.
The unit was demonstrated, played and praised by Stevie Wonder during the winter Namm 2002 in Anaheim. Wonder was so impressed he invited Richard Smith back to his studio to play on and learn more about the Carlsbro Powerharp 400. With two channels tuned specifically to the frequency response required by the harp and a set of Carlsbro nLightn flat-panel PA speakers it is a custom designed system for the demanding harp player. The system features four channels with additional tape/CD input including two channels dedicated to the frequencies produced by the harmonica, 100 Watts RMS, jack and balanced XLR inputs, 2 band active EQ per channel, built-in reverb spring, effects loop, line out, and lightweight, flat, 8 ohm speaker panels featuring NXT technology. This system has been co-developed between haRmonic Solutions and Carlsbro Electronics. |
