Dynaudio Acoustics adds active nearfield monitor to the BM series

Introduced at IBC 2004, Amsterdam, the Dynaudio BM 5A will be showcased at 117th AES in San Francisco, booth 326A. The BM 5A is a self-powered professional compact studio monitor delivering high performance and state-of-the-art technology at an affordable price. The 2-way active speaker is powered by two 50-watts amps. Providing a aa frequency response of 50 Hz - 21 kHz the BM 5A features a 170mm (6,7") woofer and 26mm (1") soft dome tweeter. Its small footprint makes it well-suited for project studios, edit suites, broadcast vans, and other applications where there is little room for the monitor set-up. All BM 5A woofers and tweeters are manufactured in Denmark, and are passing the same thorough inspection of all Dynaudio drivers. In order to meet high monitor standards, the drivers have undergone extensive fine-tuning. Together with Dynaudio Acoustics' new BM 10S and BM 12S subwoofers, the BM 5A can be combined to 5.1 set-ups.
