Flamenco Guitar on two DVD volumes

Schott International announces the launch of two DVDs by Flamenco artist and teacher Gerhard Graf-Martinez. Comprising two volumes, Flamenco Guitar aims at advanced guitar players as well as teachers. All videos have a choice of reduced and normal speed and feature multi-angle views. Including detailed instructions, playing techniques are carefully demonstrated. Additionally all tracks provide notes and tablature on screen. The DVD player's remote control is used to navigate. Total length of volume 1 is 80 minutes, length of volume 2 is 70 minutes. Born in 1952, Gerhard Graf-Martinez started playing rock and blues in '67. Being self taught, he decided to study classical guitar in 1971. For more than 25 years he is an internationally acknowledged artist, teacher and author. Flamenco is his passion. Working with Gitanos and Maestros he gained a wealth of inside knowledge. An experienced teacher, Graf-Martinez was involved with workshops and seminars in Germany and abroad. Together with his wife he is running a Flamenco-Studio in the south of Germany, teaching the guitar and dance. The DVDs are available in PAL format, NTSC versions will be launched at winter NAMM show 2005.
