D'Addario
is pleased to announce that John Roderick has joined the company as Marketing
Director for the company's new Percussion Group. Evans drumheads will be
the first company to play a role in D'Addario's Percussion Group, and John
will be directing Evans' marketing and product development, and will also
lead the company in developing Evans' sales efforts.
John has been involved with the sales, marketing, and development of
percussion instruments for 20 years, on top of his many years as a professional
musician. He has spent the last twelve years with Kaman Music, working
as Product Manager and most recently as Director of Marketing for guitar,
percussion and wholesale products.
Prior to Kaman, he sold guitar and electronics accessories, and also
managed one of New England's top drum shops. He has worked extensively
with various Asian percussion manufacturers and with sales representatives
in the U.S. and around the world, and has made countless presentations
for a wide variety of music stores and distribution companies. Some of
the products he's helped bring to market indude the Drum Fire Analog Synth,
Gibralter Hardware, CB DRUMS, Toca Percussion, Legend Drums, and Vic Firth
Educational Percussion Kits, among others.
