Drums & Percussion
|At winter NAMM show 2004 in Anaheim, California, Toca introduces three drumset add-ons for players in rock, Latin, funk, and hip hop styles.
The TD-CBP1 Toca Clave Block with Gibraltar mount pack are rugged synthetic blocks that recreate the sound of wood without the worry of splintering and shattering in the middle of a show. The instruments offer three tonal registers: soprano, alto and bass. A Gibraltar dual post securely stacks three blocks together. The assembly mounts to a conventional stand or arm.
Toca Jingle Snare with Gibraltar mount pack could serve as an auxiliary snare drum for special effects, could double as a pandeiro in Brazilian music or it could be a cool sound effect snare for drum 'n' bass electronica. The 10" natural wood finish snare tunes with a standard drum key and mounts via Gibraltar Dual Post to any stand. When played with sticks or hands, the drum produces a mix of snare and tambourine jingle timbres. The extra post allows you to add a cowbell for extra tones and versatility.
Finally, the Toca 8" Mini Timbale Snare with Gibraltar mount pack features an eight-inch stainless steel timbale with solid steel hoop. The interesting part is that it is equipped with adjustable wire snares! It's a high-pitched hybrid-an alternative to conventional snare drums and mini timbales. Again, it's at once a Latin drum, a world beat drum, a funk drum; it's anything you want it to be. The Mini Timbale Snare tunes by means of drum key operated tension rods and mounts with a Gibraltar Dual Post to any stand. The extra post allows you to add a cowbell for extra sounds and versatility.
