| Sonor have announced the availability of additional
tom
sizes for the Delite series. Customer reaction to the series has lead to the development of a further five new tom sizes and drummers can now obtain the drums in 10"x8", 12"x9", 13"x10",14"x11" and 16"x13" sizes. These new sizes have been previewed at the Winter NAMM show in California and are available through all Sonor dealers. General Manager Karl-Heinz Menzel: "Due to the very favourable reception of this series since their launch in 2000, we have received many requests for toms in the new sizes. The ultra thin shells produce a very broad tuning range and these slightly shallower tom depths increase the response and tonal qualities of the drum. We are always happy to produce new products to satisfy our ever expanding customer base." Due to the success of the 3000 Series hardware and the new Axial tom mount system, Sonor now offer this as an option for their Designer series. Drummers can now order Designer toms and bass drum mount with the AX system as a double tom holder - DTH 553 AX. A double tom stand - DTS 559 AX and cymbal tom stand - CTS 555 AX are further additions. The AX mounts offer flexibility and exact tom placement. |
