Launched at Musikmesse Frankfurt 2002, the Casio LK-73 is shipping in July 2002. The LK-73 is a six-octave keyboard with 73 dynamic touch sensitive keys at an affordable price. The extended tone and keyboard range allows playing piano scores a standard 61-key instrument can't handle.
For starters the keylighting function with up to ten keys being lit simultaneously helps making initial contact with the keyboard. The LK-73 features three levels of learning. The first level emphasises on training rhythm and time, level two focusses on melody and rhythm, while the third level challenges to play the whole score.
The LK-73 offers a choice of 100 pieces from baroque to pop and rock. The music information system shows the relevant finger positioning. Additionally rhythm, song title, metronome, notes, speed and more can be graphically shown on the large lit display. Furthermore, the LK-73 offers a choice of 100 different rhythms and accompanying patterns with fill-in, synchro-start, intro / ending and variations.
Its integrated amplifier technology gives the LK-73 a great sound quality despite the low power of 2x2,5 watts.
Further features of the Casio LK-73 are 128 tones, 24-note polyphony, song memory, tune and transpose, General MIDI, pedal input, audio output connector, and a score book.
