Launched at Musikmesse Frankfurt 2002, the Casio keyboard CTK-481 comes with 61 standard size keys, General MIDI simulation, five MIDI channels, 100 sounds, and 100 backing styles.
The large LC display provides the beginner with easily understood information about every piece the player selects from the song bank containing 100 songs. The CTK-481's display shows tone, backing pattern, tempo, score or volume, and more besides.
The CTK-481 model also provides features for advanced players like MIDI connectivity to a PC or other MIDI-compatible instruments via 5 MIDI channels.
Further features are 12-note polyphony, song bank controller, chord book, LCD musical information system, fill-in, synchro start, tune, transpose, 5 MIDI channels, sound system 2 x 2 watts with speakers, input for sustain pedal, stereo ouput to headphones or external amplifier.
The CTK-481 will be shipping in May 2002.
