Nova DIGI.mix powered mixer features digital amplifier

Launched at prolight+sound show Frankfurt 2006, Craaft Audio will also showcase their Nova DIGI.mix 16-channel powered mixing console comprising a fully digital power amp at Plasa 2006, London. The compact unit provides 2x400 watts (4 Ohms RMS) and high-quality, digital effects unit. The digital amplifier unit and the switchmode power supply are designed for superior performance and reliability.
The Nova DIGI.mix features 100mm faders, equalizer with parametric midrange (100 Hz - 8 kHz ±15dB) at the mono channels, 4-band equalizer at stereo inputs, two sub groups, headphone out, and 48V phantom-power. Control room outputs provide extra versatility. Working with A/D-D/A at 48 kHz /24 Bit, the digital effects unit offers 98 programs.
Comprising dynamic limiters and an extensive package of protection circuits, the digital amplifiers and the switchmode power supply are new designs developed by Nova in Germany. Delivering a wide dynamic range, the fully digital amplifiers don't need extra cooling. This allows for a highly compact unit weighing in at less than 9 kg.
