Carlsbro signs Lucie Diamond as very first female endorsee

Lucie DiamondCarlsbro, UK-based manufacturer of electronic equipment for live music performance, recognise Lucie Diamond is hot property. In December 2005 #1 in the prestigious European CMA chart - knocking superstar Faith Hill off the top spot - claiming the coveted Christmas #1. Her two previous singles - "What I Like About You" and "Kilimanjaro (that's what you do for me)" - reached #5 and #2 in the ECMA chart, and hit the top of the charts in many countries worldwide. Her debut release in January 2005, featured guitar legend Albert Lee.
The full endorsement deal with Carlsbro provides Lucie with the brand new CMR 40 Wireless Radio Microphone, which she will use at her major show in Berlin in February where she will perform to more than 8,000 people. Lucie is also using a Carlsbro Delta PA system with Powerline Power amplifiers, in rehearsal for forthcoming shows in Norway and Germany.
Carlsbro's sales and marketing director Jon Gold has closely followed Lucie's career since hearing early tracks from her forthcoming solo album, "Sweet Medicine," from a musician friend who played on those early recording sessions. Very impressed with what he heard, Jon set his sights on inviting Lucie to join Carlsbro's endorsee family.
"Lucie is an exceptional talent, with a great voice and she is a beautiful young lady. We are delighted to welcome her into the Carlsbro family of endorsees, and look forward to working with her in 2006, and far beyond. Lucie has achieved so much since she blasted onto the scene in January 2005 with her first single. I am 100% sure she will achieve far more success, and Carlsbro will be there alongside her. We will do all we possibly can to help her succeed and fly the flag for the UK," said Jon Gold. "This is by no means just another endorsement deal for us. I am a big country fan myself, and recognise the pure talent and Lucie's sheer determination to succeed, that mirrors somewhat our own company philosophy. Maybe you could say we are two world-beaters together. We are very excited and proud to have Lucie on board with us."
Lucie will appear on Carlsbro's stand at major trade shows in the UK and overseas. She will also travel the UK later in 2006, presenting "vocal clinics" at selected retail stores. Lucie will feature in Carlsbro advertisements and marketing material.
Taking a break from rehearsals, for a well-earned double champagne celebration - after signing the Carlsbro endorsement contract and on hearing she had the Christmas #1 in the European charts (with the spine-tingling duet of "Always On My Mind" with Norway's Arly Karlsen) - Lucie said: "I have had an amazing year in 2005, and enjoyed every minute of it. I am so thrilled to be having records played all over the world next to the big stars I have idolised since I was a young girl, wanting to be a singer like they were. To be at number 1 in Europe and have the great Faith Hill drop down to number 2, is just incredible."
"I am genuinely delighted to be working with Jon and the team at Carlsbro, and being able to use their great equipment. The new radio mike is perfect for my big show in Berlin, and my shows on the bigger stages - to allow me to really connect with the audience. 2006 is looking likely to be even busier than the last 12 months, and that is fine by me, especially now I have Carlsbro on my team. Bring it on......." said Lucie.
