Phonic launches wireless and digital pro audio products

USB and wireless enabled pro audio products take center stage at Phonic's booth at winter Namm show 2005, booth 4351hall C. New products include the Helix Board compact mixer with built-in analog/digital converter and USB connectivity, the super compact MU200XP powered mixer, wireless Performer speakers and the dual angled Powerpod Plus powered mixer.
The Helix Board 17 is a compact 17-input Mic/Line mixer with digital stereo output and input through an integrated USB port. The combined analog/digital converter and USB port allow the mixer to be connected to almost any computer for immediate editing and recording of live or pre-recorded sessions.
MU200XP is a 200W 12-input powered mixer for project studios, clubs and other with limited space. The onboard 24-bit digital effects processor has 16 preset programs with parameter control. Mini stereo input and output jacks make adding MP3 and other audio devices a cinch.
Utilizing the 2.4 GHz band, Performer Series swireless professional audio systems communicate with mixers, other Performer speaker and wireless microphones. They are suitable for small to medium-sized venues such as boardrooms, conference halls, houses of worship, school auditoriums and clubs.
The Phonic Powerpod Plus Series are powerful mixers in a compact and durable angular molded cabinet that is stand-mountable. Each Powerpod Plus features a built-in stereo amplifier, 3-band EQ on each channel and super Hi-Z inputs for the addition of guitars and other instruments. The addition of a wireless microphone module is optional.
Scott Emmerman remarked, "I think people are really going to like Powerpod Plus powered mixers because with the added power, optional wireless microphone module and vocal eliminator they represent a significant improvement on the already popular Powerpod series. We also designed these mixers so that they could sit at an angle or be mounted on a stand and placed right up on stage for easy access."
