Compact LUCAS Nano 300 System by HK Audio

At Prolight + Sound 2102, Frankfurt, Germany, HK Audio launched its LUCAS (Lightweight Ultra Compact Active System) Nano 300 which made its US debut at Summer NAMM in Nashville, shortly ahead of Nano's availibility in summer 2012.
The compact Nano sound reinforcement system offers a combination of small size, convenient options. Designed primarily for solo and acoustic performers and presenters, LUCAS Nano travels very light and sets up easily, while offering the benefits of a full range system. Its self-contained 10kg (22lb) package can be easily carried via built-in handles, and includes a dedicated subwoofer and built-in mixer, along with two small satellite speakers.
The fist-sized satellite speakers can be mounted directly on top of the sub via HK's Easy-Click connectors (requiring no additional wiring). They can also be mounted onto HK's optional stand package, or even onto traditional mic stands and connected using instrument cables for added placement options. The Easy-Click also allows for connecting two satellites in a mono configuration. In addition, a stereo link connection enables users to pair two LUCAS Nano systems together for increased power, range, and number of inputs.
Delivering a peak SPL of up to 120 decibels (116 dB at 10% THD), LUCAS Nano also is recommended to be used as monitoring solution for electronic drums and synths, gaming, and multimedia applications that can benefit from lightweight, portable audio systems. The 3-channel mixer built into the back of the sub easily accommodates microphones, acoustic-electric and stereo instruments, plus media players.
