Crate Pro Audio introduces stereo mixers
At
summer NAMM Crate introduces the PA4-FX powered box mixer for musicians
requiring a light box mixer with broad versatility. The new mixer features
four channels of operation with balanced combo jacks on all of them. The
jacks include both an XLR and a 1/4" input for easy use with high and low
impedance sources. Each channel features a master level control as well
as low and high EQ adjustment. The PA-FX is rated up to 90 watts
and features a master three band rotary EQ, effects loop, and auxiliary
input for great flexibility. 16 digital effects include small room, small
rehearsal hall, large hall, concert hall, plate reverb, spring reverb,
several slapback effects, chorus-delay, chorus-reverb and more.
In the Crate Pro Audio line the upgraded version of the two way stereo/
three way mono active electronic crossover LS4-XO is new at the Nashville
show. The crossover now features an internal power supply, High and Low
mute switches, Hi-Phaze reversal switch, and a variable crossover from
80 Hz to 9.2 kHz. A switchable CD horn equalization is based upon
24 db/octave Linkwitz-Riley. The LS4-XO maintains peak LED indicators,
40 Hz low cut and 15 kHz high cut switches, XLR and 1/4" in- and outputs
and a mono/stereo selector switch.
The Crate Pro Audio line includes the recently released stereo
console mixers (CSM) with 8, 12, 16 and 24 channels. Each channel features
balanced XLR and 1/4" in-/outputs plus 1/4 insert jacks, input gain control,
peak LED, 3-band-EQ, and four auxiliary sends, two of which are wired
pre-fader for monitor use. A channel mute switch and "PFL-listen" allow
monitoring and set-up off the main output. The signal is routed to the
headphone or a separate output jack.
