Operating and known as Sound Projects since the early 90s, the Dutch based manufacturer of active sound reinforcement systems only recently changed its name to Sound Projects. Originally founded in 1986 as Master Blaster Az-tec, some of the company's early products are still being used by bands and in clubs. Master Blaster speakers quickly became popular for their easy setup as well as their high SPL out of a small cabinet.
However, only very few customers and users of recent Sound Projects systems know the company's history that well. Eventually it was a logical step to officially change the company's name to Sound Projects, surprising a lot of people who learned that there had been something before Sound Projects. |
