Shure Incorporated, manufacturer of microphones and audio electronics, has named Sandy
Schroeder as its new Director of Corporate Market Development. Widely
admired for his straightforward, yet amiable business approach and
ineffable industry knowledge, Schroeder, in his new capacity, will be
responsible for market research and development for all of Shure's
business units.
"Sandy has been a valuable asset to Shure through his years of dedication," notes Vice President of Marketing, Steve Johnson. "I think it's a great opportunity for him to share the knowledge he's obtained with his fellow associates, and we will all surely benefit from this promotion." Other duties that come with Schroeder's new title include the supervision of Shure's training and education programs, serving as the company's liaison with trade and professional organizations, and lending direction to strategic planning and information management. Schroeder first joined Shure in 1980. Prior to accepting this post, he oversaw the activities of Shure's presentation and install market. |
