The recent positive financial status of Klingenthaler Musikelektronik GmbH (K.M.E.) demanded substantial investments to further extend manufacturing capacities.
The company already opened a new manufacturing site in 1998, but further need for an additional building occurred in autumn 2000. It took four months to complete the new building and in September 2001 a new vacuum assembly plant, a CNC panel sawing and cut-to-size equipment installation and a CNC wood treatment centre were integrated and installed in the new 500m² production hall. A total investment of about Euro 600,000 ensure further improvement in product quality along with a significant increase in manufacturing capacity.
All wooden housings for Fidelity, Cluster and Prestige series and the combos are compiled using tongue and groove and glued under pressure. Connector springs, handles and high stand flanges are smoothly integrated into the casings. This elaborate method of case construction guarantees durability and maintains product value.
Klingenthaler Musikelektronik GmbH develops, produces and distributes professional sound equipment "made in Germany". Their portfolio includes speaker systems, power amps, monitors, disco-equipment and universal amplifiers. All products, all mechanical and electronic parts and wooden components are developed and produced in-house.
