QSC Audio appoints Sennheiser as German distributor

QSC Audio has announced the appointment of Sennheiser Vertrieb und Service GmbH as their new distributors in Germany. Commenting on the move, Mauricio Saint Martin, International Sales Manager for the Costa Mesa, California-based pro-audio systems manufacturer, said, "As we have transitioned from an amplifier manufacturer to a complete systems provider, QSC has been experiencing tremendous growth throughout our international markets. With Sennheiser GmbH, we have found the perfect partner to identify and maximize our opportunities within the German market. We are very confident that this new venture will be successful and profitable for both companies."
Sebastian Schull, Sales Director responsible for Professional Systems at Sennheiser Vertrieb und Service, responded, "Our aim is to become the largest supplier of professional audio solutions in Germany. The first step at the beginning of this year was to align our sales structure toward a more customer-oriented focus. From a practical point of view, we have implemented a sales organization which is strictly oriented toward customer segments, rather than product segments. Clearly, our double-digit growth rate to date bears out the wisdom of this decision." Schull continues, "The next step was to ensure that we provided the best mix of product ranges to enable us to offer complete solutions. We identified an opportunity in the area of amplification and PA, and entered into discussion with QSC, who were also undergoing a period of transition. We quickly discovered that our aims and philosophies matched perfectly, and we would see significant benefit in our working together."
